1. Policy Scope

CityHubPro is a service marketplace. This policy applies to booking cancellations, prepaid payment refunds, and service-related return scenarios (if any) handled through the Platform.

2. Customer Cancellations

  • Customers may cancel bookings that are pending or accepted, subject to applicable platform rules.
  • If a prepaid/online payment was made and the cancellation is eligible, refund is processed as per this policy.
  • Once a service has substantially started or is completed, cancellation and refund eligibility is limited to valid dispute cases.

3. Provider Cancellations or No-Show

If a provider cancels, fails to attend, or cannot deliver the booked service, eligible prepaid amounts may be refunded in full, or booking may be rescheduled by mutual agreement.

4. Service Returns (Where Applicable)

Most bookings are for on-site services and are non-returnable by nature. If a booking involves pickup/return workflow (for example, item-based service jobs), return handling follows the booking handover and OTP confirmation records maintained on the Platform.

5. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be approved where reasonably supported by records, including:

  • Prepaid amount charged but service not delivered.
  • Duplicate or erroneous charge.
  • Material service non-performance validated through support review.

Refund requests based only on change of mind after satisfactory completion may be declined.

6. Payment Method Rules

  • Prepaid/online: Eligible refunds are returned to the original payment source wherever technically possible.
  • Cash payments: Cash-settled disputes are generally resolved between customer and provider, with platform support intervention where appropriate.

7. Refund Timelines

After approval, refunds are usually initiated within 5-10 business days. Actual credit timelines can vary by payment partner, bank, and issuer processing cycles.

8. How to Request a Refund

Raise a support request with your booking number, issue summary, and supporting evidence (photos, chat records, payment proof). We may request additional details to complete review.

9. Chargebacks

If a chargeback is filed, CityHubPro may temporarily pause related account features while verification is ongoing. Misuse of chargebacks may result in account restrictions.

10. Policy Updates

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect legal, operational, or risk-management changes. Updated policy becomes effective when posted.
